Marriage in Morocco tradition and culture

Should you give your wife money for food if she's working?  Should your wife help you with the bills if she's working?  And if she is not working how much are you supposed to give her every month for food!  What is the responsibility  of a husband in Morocco. I give my wife 3000 dirhams for food a month, she lives alone, no children, now she's wants to work and still expect me to give her money

vakar90

I send mine 2500 a month for her living expenses. There is no rent because she lives in the family home but she contributes to bills very small amount. She doesn’t work either and never wants to.

Ambreh

@vakar90

You are lucky, mine doesn't want to contribute nothing

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

Hi what is wrong with her asking her husband for her upkeep? What does Islam teaches you the wife is your responsibility regardless if she is working or not or even she financially stable you have no right over her earnings! This is Islamic ruling…

Farmizat1

@vakar90

You guys send 2500dh a month lol walahi I feel sorry for your lifestyle 2500dh is peanuts you are lucky you have a low maintenance wify lol or she’s knows ya skint 😂😂

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

How much does the average person makes in Morocco?

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

So I should send her 10,000 dirhams?

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

Dunno which part of Morrocco you think makes below average salary …… I have friends in Morocco making more than I earn in U.K. a month …. You seem to think morrocon are poor

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

I dunno how you manage to get married lol 3000dh a month allowance I’m shocked seriously 😟

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

I understand your earnings only allow so much allowance but Islam clearly states the responsibilities of a husband towards his wife may Allah guide you

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Are you actually going to answer the questions?

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Since I am learning, what is the responsibility of the wife in Islamic? I am curious

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

I’ve answered your questions …… your financially not stable how can you give her 10k dirham a Month lol

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

You know there are jobs in safi paying 1,500 dirhams a month right? Some don't even make 2000 a month

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

What’s your perception of her responsibility towards you as a wife ?? I will correct you according to

your answers and go easy as you claim to be  learning 🤣

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

I am only asking from Islamic point of view, if I knew I wouldn't be asking you in the first place

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

i agree some jobs are low paying not all …. I have mates I live in Morocco and trust me they got Pssssss  not everybody is rich but that’s same as uk you have rich middle poor

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

You married a Muslim girl and have no knowledge of your duty towards your wife lol

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

You pretty much sounded like everyone is rich in Morocco in your previous state when I ask about the average person, I didn't ask what the poorest person make in Morocco or do you now understand what (Average means) ?

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

Sadly I’ve not met poor people in Morocco I’ve heard stories …. Well story from you

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

You were lecturing me about the duties of a husband  so use the same energy to lecture me about the duties of a wife 🤷

Farmizat1

@Farmizat1

Sad she needs to get a Job her husband can’t provide for her 😂😂

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Again average doesn't necessarily implies poor  😢.

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

I’d struggle to educate somebody who thinks his got right over his wife’s wage from your first post I read ….. would be waste of energy 🥹

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Clearly you don't know what the duties are and rather dancing around the question 🙄

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

You mentioned average …. I said not poor moroccon ðŸ˜

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

Honestly I know wife’s duty but how do I educate sombody who clearly thinks his wife earnings are supposed to be for bills etcc??? Unless your struggling to meet your ends meet than maybe she could help you but don’t have to your man of the house fhemt

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

I couldn't agree with you more. Sadly you lack English comprehension of something as basic as the word Average, yet again you are dog piling on everything but answer the question you so much lecture me about, laughing emojis doesn't absorb you

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

I’m in giggles over 3000dh monthly allowance dance 💃  🕺ðŸ»

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

You should check your spelling mistakes 🥹

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Hey whiles you are at it maybe you can also lecture me about spelling as well, I mean why not, we are already here

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

You should really talk to some one about this 3000dh allowance and that you want her to pay bills lol

Farmizat1

@Ambreh

You seem like a average 50yr old going through midlife crisis maybe

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

Maybe next time ask for clarification if you can't warp your tinny brain around something. This is why I stated in my previous post about you lacking basic English knowledge. 3000 dirhams is for food alone. In the first paragraph it clearly stated that. How lazy of a reader are you?

Ambreh

@Farmizat1

50? Oh brother, you are very generous, I am 79 and she's 18, maybe you not bad at math 😀
