There are so many questions I have about graphic design. First of all, I want to start my own website, and my goal is to eventually be able to work with a design firm or even run my own design business. However, I don't have any experience as a graphic designer. Do I need experience to start my own website? If I don't have experience, how would I get started? Is taking a course my best bet? And even if I did take a course, how would I use that knowledge to get a job or get my business to going? I'd love to know anyone who has any answers to any of these questions.

Can I use my limited graphic design knowledge to become a professional graphic designer? If so, how do I go about it? Do I need more experience, or can I just try for it?

No experience is a killer.

Get a couple of years worth of experience and try again.
