I don't really know much about Saudi yet - have only been to restaurants and a few odds shops... I get driven to work by a friend and other than that, go to work, come home and binge tv shows, cook a meal and sleep! So not really confident enough to plan an event just yet

You should go to Jarir bookstore and buy a copy of "Riyadh Today 2012."  There are pages and pages of activities available around Riyadh (for example, all the golf courses are listed, along with information, prices, phone numbers, etc.).

This can be the first step in seeing exactly what's available and where it's located.

It's a handy book to have, Sushi.  Also serves as a phone book to various businesses.

Any idea how much Bodymasters Gym is? It's on my way to work and I hear they have a pool, I keep meaning to pop in but i'm not the driver

Bodymasters is good one but there is another one called fitness time good one also

body master is 1,300 riyals for about 6 months,  they usually run a promotion for an extra three months which comes to 6. They do have a pool and its very nice
