Schools in the Taoyuan area

Hi, I am a mother of 2 young children, 6months and 5 years from Canada. We will be moving to Taiwan, Taoyuan area..near the Eva Air college. This will be my first time in Taiwan. I am looking to put my 5year old boy in school, are there good schools near that area? Do they speak English? My boy's mandarin is extremely limited. are there international schools near that area? I am still tossing the idea of putting him in a local kindergarten and then moving him into the international schools come September when he is ready for grade 1... Any thoughts on this? Thanks...
