Hi everyone!

Is there anyone who uses Etsy.com to sell items (handmade or supplies)? I am thinking about opening one and I would appreciate some advice over a coffee.

Hi Evi, I don't know of anyone who sells on Etsy (I'm in the business so if anyone would come across it, it would be me). A friend of mine is heavily into crafts (she's brilliant) but she can't find a market for it in Malta. It seems there is an attitude that crafts are second rate - however, there is a surge of upcycling taking place. What do you make?

Hi,

thank you for your response. I mostly do knitting and crochet (before we moved to Malta I did聽 crafts with children and helped to run a craft club for mothers and we made things to help to raise money, but never sold my things commercially).

Yes, I have figured that聽 Malta does not have a market for handmades (so far I could not even find a decent yarn shop), but selling online might help to reach costumers elsewhere.聽

There is actually a craft market- I think it happens 3 times a year.
The website is patchesmarket.com

They select vendors for each market.
