Please suggest is it worth accepting the job.

Is it ok can a single person live happily?

Dear Yadnesh,
is the 1500 USD gross or net salary and does your job provide accomodation, transport and meals

If your job provides the fringe benefits and you have no family here or back home that you support,then i think its a fair salary for uganda standards
BUT
if it excludes transport,rent,meals and medical, then i advise you to ask for a better bargain of atleast $2,500

Uganda is quite affordable and if you are single that is a good salary. You will be able to live a good life and make a little saving if you are not a big spender. That salary is the equivalent of 3.4 million Uganda Shillings.

It is good if it follows the CBA(Collective Bargaining Agreement) fairly. Check for the agreement available for the sector. I got it from convention-collective-auto.fr聽 before joining.
