Are there any open jobs for people like him moving in?

People like him?  As far as I know, there are no special or specific jobs for Irish citizens, or indeed, for citizens of any country.

As for sponsorship, I find it odd that you were born and raised in Saudi but don't know the sponsorship rules, specifically, that every single foreigner in Saudi needs a sponsor. (except for investors who get an investor iqama, but those are very rare and have very stringent conditions and required minimum capital)

I am Irish , just arrived , he will need iquama to open bank account , drive a car, pretty much everything . As ye are not married that will be a problem for you . This issue you need to consider as Riyadh is not Dublin!!!
I live on a compound with other expats . what he works at will dictate if he can get a decent job with good terms and conditions.
As regarding how he will be treated , I have had no bad experiences but if you have lived here you probably know more about the place than me

Thanks trapezius and wjb. I remember working with Americans and they used to come here on short term business visas. Frankly I dont hold a blue or red passport so i thought there might be exceptions to europeans as compared to us (me).
Yeah i know we are just bf gf so this isnt something legal here in saudis point of view.
But anyways, more responses are welcome. I would like to know more about your jobs.

I have come across many Pakistani families in Saudi where the females have little to no exposure to the outside world, even access to TV programs and personal use of mobile phone is restricted. Why is it so is none of my problem and will give my opinion on this, I am narrating this in response to Trapezius's remark:

My advise is that you should wait until you are married to your man, Saudi offers a fair chance to people of skills from all corners of the world and Ireland should be no exception.

Thats not the case with my family riaz. Infact pakistani families in my circle are very broadminded and let their girls do whatever they want to. But obviously within religious limits. We are not restricted to anything. Its just that i am pretty bad at all such general info abt anything in overall. Pls dont give a wrong impression.

If you feel appropriate, you could give brief details of your fiance's educational background and experience, I am sure expats in similar walks of life will be able to guide you on salary and other perks he should expect.

Lastly your concern"  Dealing with Saudis ", interaction with Saudis will depend a lot on whether you employer is a Government institution or a private one, in either case this should not be an issue.

well i dont know if u like my suggestion just convince ur parents and ur bf let them arrange your wedding ceromany in pakistan and after that both of u move where he lives. second about job if u want a nice job for him he should have at least some degree in specific subjects like accounts, engineering, architect, + with some experience other then that only labor job he can find
