Just wonder what kind of visa violation if they are married to Indonesians....perhaps no WNI sponsored KITAS.

Sounds like a marriage just to work.

Hahaha I like the title

Too bad the article is so vague.  Western Nusa Tenggara is primarily Lombok and Sumbawa, so details of where these deportations are being generated would be interesting to know, i.e. the party islands of the Gilis…mining industry in Sumbawa, or what?

Thirty-seven deportations for that area is a pretty significant number.

The article is from September but I believe it's related to the report from yesterday

That makes perfect sense Tom.  Gili T is like Kuta, Bali on steroids...the wild, wild West, and lots of foreigners totally disregard work permits and compliance to visa regulations there.  Good on immigration's part.  I wonder how many of them were behind bars, and how much money they got out of them before deporting them, especially if these raids go back a few months.   Karma...it is a wonderful thing!   :D

I agree with you Roy, well done by the authorities.

One can hope that they keep doing there work by catching the foreigners making money the illegal way and not following the visa regulations all over Indonesia
