Hi,

Can you give me some advice? I want to start a clothing line.
I plan to go to Vietnam to find a tailor/seamstress to re-create my samples (I need to be there to ensure they are a high quality.)
I will take these back to Aus, and then test the quality/durability over 3-4 weeks
If the garments meet the standards I will make an order for up to 200 pieces.

From researching, Hanoi seems to be a good place to start. Would you agree?
Do you know any tailors who are connected with factories who take low minimums? I would like to find a factory located slightly away from the touristy areas.
The clothing I am making is soft cotton/rayon flowy tops and shorts.

Ashki,if you want English-capable people, it's better to post your info on LinkedIn groups, for example. Most of the young Vietnamese on LinkedIN is more familiar with modern form of communication than elsewhere. So you have better hope working with them.

Here, local Vietnamese poster work mostly in service sector, not industrial.
