its not a problem really - you are just as likely to be struck by any terrorist activity anywhere in the world. stop worrying and enjoy Cyprus - you will love it and those fears will disappear

Everyone has been really friendly and mostly curious about where I am from (I am South African). I have visited the main cities and quite a few villages in the mountains.

The people in Nicosia and Lefkara are awesome. Nissi Beach and Protara are the most beautiful beaches.
