Hi. My name is Jack. I have recently moved to Turkey with my partner having retired from local government in London. Moving to a new country is daunting for anyone so I've decided to write a tongue in cheek blogg of my experience to help with the transition. Hi, found your blog yesterday, very amusing, be warned you spend the second year in Turkey trying to get rid of the friends you made in the first year.聽 Most expats are completely gaga and not in a fashion forward way.聽

Good advice. Judging by the people we've met so far I don't think we are going to wait a year before dumping them. Is there something in the water?
