I have come to Almeria to make a new life although it could be considered rather late to do so as I am 69 now. I would love to meet up with others who have come here. It is a lovely city and an excellent place to settle if you want to learn the language, which I do. There is such a variety of bars and restaurants and the beaches are superb and never really crowded compared with a lot of places. At this time of year, they are relatively quiet. All I need now is some friends with whom to socialise and enjoy what there is here.
