Customer care in Denmark

Post new topic

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

The way customer services are handled can greatly affect your views on certain brands, products, companies or stores. As a consumer, it is important to get familiar with local practices regarding client assistance in Denmark and try to understand how things work in the country.

How would you describe your customer service experiences in Denmark?

Do you feel welcome when you enter a store? Do you get useful tips and advice?

Are after-sales services available in Denmark?

Thanks for sharing your experience,

Priscilla

You have to be careful, as more and more stores have turned to high pressure sales tactics with uneducated (low wage) sales people who don't know their products very well.

As for everything else i Denmark, there is a buying law that governs returns.  I haven't read the law, but it is followed pretty strictly.  In the US, where I came from originally, many stores that I knew in the 90s had adopted had a "no questions asked" return policy.  That doesn't happen, as a rule, here.
