Hello my expat peeps, Yes, you read the subject correctly. Inspired by a recent off-island trip, I have become fascinated with silkworms. Do any of you eco-knowledgeable folks know if there are any silkworms in Puerto Rico or if they can be imported?
Instructions on their care and supplies here: Ask them about importing, I do not think it will be an issue since the insect form has lost its ability to fly.
I assume you are going to use them to feed some other animal or fish and not starting a new silk shop since you do not have the space for a commercial setting.
What do you plan to do with them?
