Need help finding short term housing

Does anyone know if it's very feasible/common to be able to rent a flat / apartment in an expat area of bangalore for just 3 months (june, July & August)?

I can suggest you to have a look at the accommodation of Bangalore classifieds and eventually post an advert there.
