What is the best season/time of the year to move to Oman, and why?

How do rent prices fluctuate based on the different seasons?

I think now is the best time to move Oman there you can see the hot weather and also beautiful weather in evening at muttrah

Hi, there,
It depends where the new expat is coming from,if s/he coming from a hot climate country it makes no difference but if coming from a cold / meduim climate then the best time to come to Oman would be around the beginning of Autumn ,why becoz the weather during this period is really fabulous ; One will not sweat as soon as one leaves the Airport and same applies if walking in the street or at the beach.
Later on when has got along with life , habits ,people, expats etc then facing the hot weather during the end of Spring time would not be a big deal,

Hi

We left the country in a five months time. Please think twice. As long as the NoC rule persist i dont think its a secure place to work. Also there... law and order is very vague...
Housing rents are less cmpared to UAE. See that u shift to the cities and not any villages in Oman.
