Commute time - Grand Baie area to Port Louis and return

Post new topic

Hi

My husband and I are moving to Mauritius in two weeks. We are looking at homes in the North. My husband wants to know what his commute time from Grand Baie area into Port Louis as well as his return trip in the evenings will be? Could anyone give us an indication of this?

Thanks 😊

Hi,

I travel daily from Trou aux Biches to Port Louis and it easily takes 1 hour (good) to 1.5 hours (worth case - mainly in the mornings, the evening seems a bit smoother) in the peak times.

But fingers crossed when the finish the 3rd lane this becomes faster...

Hi Tessa, it's 35 minutes by Port Louis express if normal traffic. But the last express is pretty early back from Port Louis, at 6pm sharp
