CHANGE OF EMPLOYER IN BELGIUM - Work permit B

Hi,

I am on Work permit B in Belgium. I am planning to change my current company and already got an offer from new company. My current company has already started the process of my existing WP renewal( as it expires in next 2 months and My residence permit expires in next 3 months.). Now if my new company applies for my new WP, do I need to resign before they start the procedure or I can continue with the current employer while the new company continues my WP process ?
