Hi everyone! Bonjour!

I moved to beautiful island of Mauritius last year and the 禁漫天堂 was such a valuable site to get information on just about anything to do with the island.

I met some really amazing people through this site and we've become such dear friends. All the people I met made all the difference during my time there. I also used this site to search for a cheap car to rent and get more info on the area I was living (Phoenix). I really encourage newcomers to try and make connections with not only expats but with locals - what better way to learn about the beautiful culture, food and language of Mauritius than through someone who knows it best.

I have returned back to Canada since my contract ended and miss Mauritius very much. Thank you for some of the best times of my life and the sweetest memories!

If any expats have any questions or want some advice from a Canadian perspective - do let me know!

Great that you had such a nice time during your stay in Mauritius and that you bring with you in Canada some good experience of Mauritius, the locals and also some expats who are here too.
I wish you all the best and hopefully you will be back someday.
