Hi,I am an expat working in Bahrain, since we are going to lockdown, and it’s no work no pay for us,I am really worried about my rents and expenses,it’s going to be really difficult for me to survive with half months salary, having to pay my rent and other commitments, basically I want to know is there any facilities or exemptions that the government is providing for the expats, as the local are getting exemptions on many things ,my colleagues and myself we are really worried about the upcoming month, because we haven’t  got paid yet for the month of March and having taken away salary for the lockdown how are we going to make it.

The only thing for expats seems to be the EWA bills for 3 months.

You could speak to your landlord and request a waiver or a deferment of the rent until this outbreak is resolved. He/she might just agree to your request

Good luck

Very sorry to hear about your situation, i am not sure how Indian govt could help expats. Its the  Bahrain govt. decision to close non essential business establishments. Speak to your landlord again and ask him to consider

prayers for everyone in trouble.
