Hi, I am trying to find out more about paying taxes here in Spain. I am not working and not a pensioner. Me and my wife moved here in June 2020 and are surviving on savings and then a private pension that will be ample until state pension age. I am not sure how we go about paying tax. All the money is in my name so my wife is dependant on me. Any help would be much appreciated.

The easiest MO is to use a gestor.聽 You will see their offices around it just ask locality. My wife and I make a joint declaration. Costs 50 euros.

With a couple of exceptions you will need to declare your worldwide income as it is all taxed in Spain.

The income tax declaration is made between may and June, and relates to the previous calendar year, jan to dec.聽 s贸 this year it will be for 2020.
