Business visa is Valid for a certain time period and headache for renewal specially during all this covid pendamic , but Residential Visa (iqama) commonly known as employment visa is arranged to give benefits to that person like easiness in renting apartment , opening bank account to transfer money internationally or locally, getting mobile sims , internet, renting or even buying a car, movement between cities without any obligation. Usually there are terms and condition in a proper contract which is signed between sponsor and you. So just take care of that contract and read properly before iqama process. Once contract is signed you must follow your contract which can not be more then a year as per new law and its renewable every year with both employer and employee consent .

As per law, you are not supposed to work on a business visa - it is for attending meetings and so on.   Also be aware that if and when they arrange a work visa, you will have to leave the Kingdom to get it stamped.  Lastly, you cant open a bank account or pretty much do anything that residents can - on a business visa.

You need to be married.  No other form of relationship e.g. girlfriend/boyfriend, is recognized nor allowed for sponsorship.

Business visa is the fastest way to get you to KSA.
I came that same way.
However, your employer will need to work on your work visa quickly, to ensure you are granted an Iqama, so you can open a bank account, etc..
