You should share the medical certificate where it has mention that you are fit for any kind of work as I don’t know the nature of your work.

The certificate should come from a reputed hospital or medical institution (not from a clinic or private nursing home). Share the certificate along with all your test evidences to your new employer who can submit to the authorities for them to review and accept.

@selvamanand532 Brother you must visit sg on tourist visa and need to go under another check up at TTSH, at tb unit, after get reports if everything is ok then submit ur report to mom. This is the only way, even ur reports from home country are ok.

Hi Sir

I'm from Bangladesh

I went to Singapore for the first time last 14/12/23 where I stayed in Ma Current for 3 days and underwent medical. After 1 more day in my medical report my scarring in the right upper zone TRO TB in high risk MW came and sent me to Bangladesh! But I have not been diagnosed with TB disease by any medical doctor in Bangladesh! But CT scan reporte normal vascular markings are seen. But please sir let me know whether I can go to Singapore again.... I am a child of a very poor family. I have borrowed and spent a lot of money for Singapore.

beppi

I do not understand the abbreviations in your post. What is "Ma", "TRO" and "MW"?

In any case, if you think the diagnosis was wrong, you can have another medical check (to which you bring the new report along).

I am a child of a very poor family. I have borrowed and spent a lot of money for Singapore.

This was probably a bad idea, but does not make any difference regarding the above matter.

Hi am raja last two year working in shipyard permit then finished singapore eligible test then go back india .now i got the some company but cannot apply . the reason medical unfit for entry .so i how to clear this problems

beppi

@rajadeepanraj346 I cannot tell, from your post, what you mean. Please use corect sentences to make things clearer!

What is a "shipyard permit" and which "singapore eligible test" are you referring to?

There is no check whether you are medically fit, when you apply (for the job) or even when the employer applies for a work pass. So what actually happened?

But if the cause of your unclear problem is really that you are medically unfit for work, then getting well again is the best solution.

Patrick Collison

Lately, there has been an influx of posts concerning Work Permits, but unfortunately, some of them lack clarity in how the OP describes their problem. As a result, it becomes quite challenging to provide any meaningful advice.

To ensure effective communication and receive helpful responses, it is essential for you to clearly articulate your problem, so that everyone can understand.

Here are some guidelines to follow:

  • Please draft your post on your phone using the Notes app. Once you have finished writing, take the time to read through it again and correct any mistakes you may find.

  • When composing your post, please write short sentences that end with periods. This will make it easier for others to read and comprehend your message.

  • It is best to avoid using abbreviations or acronyms. By using full words and phrases, you can minimize confusion and ensure that your message is understood by all.

By adhering to these guidelines, you can enhance the clarity of your posts and receive more meaningful advice in response.

@Patrick Collison Thanks! If all posters follow your advice, we would waste much less time here!

Hi sir/Medam : I'm from India

Last Year I worked In singapore one year completed after Renewal Time company not giving renewal . so i return to india. I another company apply automatically rejected .  After I checked resion status showing medical unfit. how to slove this problem . please give me solution thanks

beppi

@mselva132 You can only work in Singaporeif you are medically fit for the job.If you are not, you should get well again before you apply for a work pass!

If you are medically fit, but the medical check result says unfit, then you should find out why it says so. Contact the doctor who checked you!

If you think there is an error in the system and "medically unfit" was entered incorrectly, then you should contact MoM with proof that you are fit (e.g. the correct medical report) and ask them to change the system entry!

@Patrick Collison Hello. I just want to ask if i still be eligible for spass? I overstayed in Singapore due to medical resons. I was diagnosed with inactive TB (2016)

and i was sent back home to continue my treatment. My agency arranged all the papers and paid the overstay fine from my placement fee. I even showed a document to the immigration officer proving that i paid the fine.

This year 2024, i tried to re-apply again and my work pass status is invalid. My current agency asked few questions regarding what happened in my stay in SG in 2016 (I think questions came from MOM). My xrays are fine now it's been 8 years and i have no scar in all of my xrays.  My agency in SG submitted an appeal but i am so anxious if i will be granted with spass. I believe MOM will have access to my previous visit in SG and they'll see that my agent fixed everything before departing from SG.

beppi

@stephaniecoralde1994 Overstaying is a serious offense in Singapore. If you got fined for it before, you are very unlikely to be allowed to work here again (regardless of the medical issue).

I recommend you look for jobs in other countries!

GuestPoster1999

@beppi Hello actually my agency fixed my overstaying papers and i paid my overstaying there. I was granted with extension there. i am required to undergo lab test and xrays that's why i overstayed. They need to make sure i am fit to travel when they send me back home. But that was 8 years ago. I applied again this 2023 and my IPA got rejected. I think my ptb history has really affected my IPA applocation. I think I won't be able to have IPA in Singapore even in the future.

GuestPoster1999

@beppi I mean the reason why i overstayed is because tan tock seng is requiring me to do series of lab tests. When i told the immigration officer about why i exceeded more than 30 days, he did not question me a lot. He was actually nice. I dont see it as an offence because it's like their policy before repatriating a worker who is ill.

beppi

@stephaniecoralde1994 If you had a legitimate reason for staying longer, then it is NOT overstaying and you do not get fined.

So the fact that there was a fine clearly shows that you did an illegal act (in MoM's eyes), for which you will be banned for a long time.

Sorry, but you are not the first (and probably not the last) person who gets fucked up by an employment agent. They should be avoided if at all possible!

GuestPoster1999

@beppi that was 2016 so i can't clearly remember what was printed on the paper. I think it was the extension letter. Oh my goodness maybe i submitted a wrong reason to my agency in singapore that is why i was not granted with IPA. I thought overstay word is okay to use since i really exceeded more than 30 days while waiting for my s pass. It just so happen that i have an inactive ptb that was detected in Singapore. Anyways what not meant for me isn't meant for me. I am just sad because I really waited 8 years to apply again. Thank you so much for replying.

beppi

@stephaniecoralde1994 It does not matter what the agent says, it matters what MoM sees about you in their database. If that is overstaying and being fined for it - that is the result.

If you want to work in Singapore again, you should contact ICA and clarify it with them, before any new application or appeal!

OrdinaryHuman241

@abeebal1982 hello. Are the medical clearance and report from my home country be okay to submit to my employer for the medically unfit to be lifted?

OrdinaryHuman241

@mathirasi1987 what if I am not in Singapore right now? Will the documents from my home country be enough evidence that I am fully cured?

beppi

@OrdinaryHuman241 Only MoM can tell! Your employer should contact them and ask!

abeebal1982

@OrdinaryHuman241
