I'm a little confused and I would be happy if someone could help me.

I'm working at a company for 4 years now and they renewed my single permit last year and my single permit is valid until the end of 2026.

I found a new job and they are willing to apply for a new single permit for me. If they apply does my current employee get a notification?

My notice period is 6 weeks and I want to continue my work peacefully until the new work permit gets issued and then give a notice. Can I do that?

Can I continue my residence in Belgium until I get a new resident permit?
