Hi Kenjio,

I suggest you drop an advert in the jobs in Malta section or contact the professionals recommended in the Jobs in Malta section of the business directory to inquire.

All the best,

Being a TCN you may not find it easy getting employment here.

Hi Kenjio

Don't be discouraged by comments about TCNs (third country nationals, or non-EU citizens) finding it hard to move here.

Yes, the visa and work permit processes are long-drawn but if you a) have a willing employer, and b) can be patient, it's no different than finding a job anywhere outside of your current place of residence.

Source: I am a TCN who falls in the top 3% of wage earners in Malta, according to the latest figures of the National Statistics Office of Malta.

I fully believe you. It is absolutely possible to move to Malta / find a job also for TCNs, but as you state yourself, you're among the top 3% earners in Malta... And I do believe that for a housekeeper (which the OP apparenntly is) things might look a bit different, i.e. harder??  I'm not a TCN, but have friends from Serbia (with university degrees) who had a very hard time, just because they were TCNs.

Agreed as well, however, the lower end of the labour market is exactly what is more promising to the OP (original poster) since these are the jobs that Maltese and EU citizens are no longer interested in taking up for obvious socio-economic reasons.

The MEA (Malta Employers Association) has been publicly calling on the government, ETC, IdentityMalta to relax their approach towards TCNs or risk stunting economic growth.

There are jobs plenty for the OP. He/she simply needs to connect with a willing employer and be patient with the paperwork.
