What kind of roofing work? Industrial maybe, residential - our roofs are not like roofs you're recognise :P

Leoibb

Ah thankyou for the reply. Apreciate there not the same but bluntly a roof is a roof is a roof different materials really that's all the difference is. But conecial and domestic roofs we do. Also do full refurb so can do owt from fitting a door to plastering or building an extention.

I assume you have never visited Malta, it’s advisable to visit before deciding to move here also
whatever happens with Brexit may depend on whether you get work here or not, wages are a lot
lower then the UK,good luck.

Leoibb

Thankyou  no never been I do have a pal out there but regarding brexit I don't know what it will effect but in all fairness it can't be worse than what we been through so far

It can you may not be allowed to work here as you will be a T C N not an Eu person.

I know I am aware of all the what iffs. None of which bother me as there is always a way. They suddenly ain't gonna stop every one working it really isn't sensible.

All jobs are offered firstly to local born people, then EU citizens and finally TCN which you will be one of.

Leoibb

Ahh i know but all depends on ability and skill. Also I'm sure there is plenty uk companies operating there

A lot of the construction work is carried out by locals or Italian companies using Italian workers.

Leoibb

Ahh i follow ya bud.   To be honest I am sort of exploring avenues. My pal works there health and safety officer on sites but no idea how he got such a job as np building skills or qualifications.  He suggested it would be easy for me to get work there

Health and safety in Malta that’s a laugh!!

From what I see here most of the building and construction work is taken up by either locals or Africans immigrants on really low pay. You will find work in this sector but you'd be lucky to get a wage high enough to support a nice lifestyle. The pay is honestly well below par compared to what you would get in the UK.

You would be best getting a job in the iGaming or blockchain sector. A lot of these companies like hire native English speakers in customer support, payments and compliance roles and the turn over in these companies is huge because of the number of foreigners in these roles. Getting a job in iGaming is easy and the pay is quite good, even for the entry-level roles. There's a few recruitment agencies that specialise in these sectors, they'd be a good place to start. Pentasia and bettingconnection would be my recommendations.

Good luck with everything :)

OK well that's apreciated and interesting
