Help. Can she work. Wife of EU citizen

Hi. Im planning to relocate to Malta in around 1 year.
Im gonna stay in Tunis for a while after our wedding.
Then om moving to Malta for work.

I read the EU rules for me to bring my wife  from outside EU and i read some posts here.

My question is, when she gets 5 years resident card.

Can she work in Malta?

Do you mean this.

During your stay you should be treated in the same way as nationals of your host country, notably regarding access to employment, pay, benefits, access to work and enrolment in schools.

Even if you are staying as a tourist, you shouldn't, for example, have to pay more when visiting museums or buying transport tickets.
