Hi Friends,

I am an MBA graduate having 2 years of work experience in marketing and market research.I am looking for a job in Singapore and relocate there.

Please give your valuable tips to how to start my Job hunt

You can go to some other well known online job agency like jobstreet and jobsdb. Just for your information, having MBA without many years of experience is no use in Singapore. Many company still prefer to hire Degree for all junior job as it will be cheaper.

Having 2 years of experience I don't think will put you good enough on Managerial level. So don't get surprise you will get lower position than you expected.

Like you said even I have heard same about the Job scenario for MBA with few years of Experience in Singapore.

Yeah the issue is with your qualification you will need to get company hire you for EP which with min pay of 3k. If company try to apply for you spass, chance it will get rejected will be very high as you got high qualification.

In Singapore nowadays is very strict in giving permit.

Another way is to get your Singapore PR through this sceme:

Singapore Landed Permanent Residence (LPR) Scheme

The LPR Scheme is open to individuals who have either top notch education or professional background. As a rule of thumb, you must be in the top 1% of your competitive landscape on a global basis. To give you an idea, a graduate degree or a PhD from Stanford University would be considered top notch education. Once approved, you must relocate to Singapore within one year and find employment to fully secure your Singapore Permanent Residence status.

more information visit and yeah you will need to pay ... fresh graduate without working experience if not mistaken around $800, or working experienced for more than 2 years $1500. Call them to check, it's legal. This might be the easiest way to get your PR providing you're from reputable institution.
