Which languages do you speak?

Post new topic

Ernz

Hello everyone!

I'm writing from Singapore, I just joined this group to look for friends and contacts who can speak many different languages. I work with a recording company and we specialise in providing multi-lingual voices to clients worldwide. At the moment, we're looking for native English speakers so i you're from the UK or the US, live in Singapore and are interested in doing some voiceover work, please get in touch. (moderated: no ads please)

Aside from making some business contacts, I'd also like to make new friends here in SG and elsewhere in the world. If you speak Italian and would be willing to help me with mine (I'm learning and my grasp of it is atrocious!) that would be great too!

Send me a personal message here. Would love to hear from you guys soon!

Try the Italian Cultural Institute - that's where I've been taking lessons. I hope to continue soon though.

Good luck, we can help each other practise if you like!

Hey guys, nice to hear many are trying to pick up Italian...It's such a romantic language...I am a Singaporean, trying to learn some Italian too...Is Italian Cultural Institute really good? The fees are pretty steep...

fermisk

Hi, I speak Farsi, English, Kurdish and Hawrami.

areopolis

Actually, I speak Italian and work with it. Let's call a spade a spade: the grammar is difficult.

But I might be able to help in any case ;) What are your reasons for learning apart form the 'romantic' aspect?

Ernz

Hello all!
Thanks for replying to this thread. Actually, I'm looking for anyone who can speak languages which aren't readily available or 'common' in Singapore. The reason being: we need voiceover talent. Anyone interested can email me at tonedeaf@pacific.net.sg. I can't reply to any of your messages on here - they've banned me.

Hope to hear from you soon, especially Areoplis, Nfirdaus, Fermisk and Globibo.

Julien

How would you be able to post this message if you've been banned? :|

Ernz

Hey guys!
I can't send any private messages, so I can only post replies here. Email the address I enclosed before if you'd like to discuss voiceover possibilities.

Everyone learning Italian - the Cultural Institute here is starting new batch of lessons soon. You can check their site, I've just registered. We can discuss our efforts with Italian if you like. My personal email is erniza@live.com.sg.

Speak to you soon!

Julien
