House cleaner typ. charges

How much should I expected to pay per hour to have my house cleaned inside only, say twice a month. Say each time may take 7 to 8 hours to complete. The house is a 2 story 5 brm
house. I've been getting quotes ranging from as little as $14/hour to $30/hour. Would appreciate any input! Thanks.

I have found $10-$15 is more typical. Check out a bulletin board at your closest Cold Storage. Maids often will put up ads hoping to get expat households to work for. If you go through an agency it's going to be more expensive.

Personally I'd suggest doing a 4-5 hour shift with someone once a week. It might be easier to have a more regular schedule and more likely that they will actually show up of it's less random.
