There are not many LoC holders frequenting this forum, therefore we don't have much experience with it,
I can only assume that MoM does not like job-hoppers on LoC (just like job-hoppers on other work passes) and therefore makes it difficult to switch jobs.
You are better advised to chage only after staying in one job for a few years!

I will be joining my husband in SG in few days. I would like to know the chances of getting job on dp. I have around 6 yrs of exp in MNC in India with pmp certification. I would.like to know the chances of getting job on dp. My husband is Ep holder.

Chances of getting a job depends on your experience and the job openings in those fields. An employer who will hire, can apply LOC. We have many existing posts related to job and other information, you can start spending time to go through those posts for your own understanding. Good luck

Many employers are not aware of the DP/LoC method, so it is up to you to convince them. Others may not want to do that, since an employee on LoC presents an additional risk to the company.
In any case, LoC holders are usually underpaid (due to the risk and because the EP holder is the main breadwinner anyway) and get less career advancement.

Currently im also encountering the same issue of LOC Pending for 1 month. Many LoC application getting approved after new announcement of MOM. But mine is still pending. Did your LoC approved during that time? What was the reason for delayed?

Hi, my company also renewed my LOC from 14 Apr and now pending still. But my friend got new LOC approved in 3 days. And LOC renewal was approved in 1 day plus for another friend.

Have you got LOC approved already?

Still LOC not yet approved. Pending for one month.

Maybe MOM hold the approval results until near Apr end to prevent new LOC applications come when they know that there are chances to get LOC before May 1st 🤔

This is my third job in Singapore.

Many on hold due to the new rule to be applied in May. Most likely they want   employers to apply for pass instead of LOC

Not yet, one week only passed. I think need to wait till next week only.
I have been working for this company for 3 years already and it is just LOC renewal, not sure why it is pending still. Thought this is yes MOM pending tactic...

Hi, my husband LOC has been pending almost to 2 months. It never happen before and the last time his LOC gets approved within 2 weeks. Has anyone encounter anything like this before LOC pending more then a month?

Chemsouros:: You posted on a thread from last year, and might not know that the LoC on DP has been abolished and is no longer available. Your husband should get a work pass on his own merit!
