There are a couple, even appeals pending for 6 weeks.
Hi, mine is still pending and no update since June 14, 2021. 🙏 it's may ongoing 10th week now of waiting.
Thanks for the update. Mine is pending from June with no comments or updates from MOM. Submitting a formal request letter for an status didn't help.
Mine is pending from 16th June and 2 times mom asked additional documents in 5th week and 7th week
Hi Rose, sad to know about your delay.
If you don't mind, can plz share what type of documents MoM had requested in ur case?
Is this the norm now? I recently heard from a well known recruiter that current processing times are 10+ weeks in each go (application/appeal to approval/rejection) for new applications. This is apparently a very recent development (last 2 months or so)

There are recent posts where forum members have had approvals within a week, two weeks or even 3, while some have not heard for over 2 months or even more. You can’t generalize it, it depends on a case to case basis, whilst MoM typically outline that 8 weeks is the processing time.
Hi, as per my new HR, she have the case that waited for 12 weeks for approval. Still hoping for the best. ❤🙏

Yeah but isn't 8 weeks the maximum time stated on the MoM website for a long time, not a new update right?
Renewals even I have personally heard they come within a few weeks still

There is nothing called as maximum time, 3-8 weeks is what’s listed clearly on MoM work pass division page for most cases. Request for additional info, clarifications, educational verification and improper submissions don’t guarantee an approval and hence the delays.
For your info and read,
Hi Feb20,
Appeal was submitted with my payslips, bank statements,Tax diocument and justification letter
Then Mom asked agency information such as company turnover, profile details, prove how can they pay my salary and business contract etc
Finally mom asked the reason for adjusting salary as we reduced salary to meet minimum ep salary requirement and contract with revised salary
Hi rosemaryasp2
Thanks for the reply..
Is this your first job in Singapore ? are you currently in Singapore?
Hi Beppi, Shekz..based on your experience, after how many days of appealing, HR should ideally start doing followup with MoM.. also what is the best And assure mode of followup, email or call as calling seems have a long waiting time for connecting MoM.
If email is recommended then if can share email address detail for MoM, would be helpful.
Thanks...
Hi Feb20,
No. This is my 4th job and 3 times worked for the same end client under different agencies.
Yes. I am currently in Sigapore on DP and my last working day was 18th may. Since then waiting for this ep approval.

After 2-3 weeks for an appeal, a follow up is justified, call the number (ask your submitter to do so).
How can i Check my S Pass appeal status?
My EP application rejected after 2 months , still awaiting inputs from HR for the reason. Could you please advise what can be the next steps?
Submitted on 23rd June
Rejected 25 th August

Sorry to hear, an appeal with justification towards the specific ask/ rejection reason.
Ok reason of rejection will be shared with whom?

The application submitter gets the notification with the rejection reason. If there is any ambiguity, they can contact MoM to seek clarity.
there are couple of things unusual with my case, not sure if other people have similar experiences they can share here
I was on EntrePass for the past 4 years and running a startup with a cofounder(local), now i have decided to leave the startup and accepted an offer in a large tech company, my EP application was submitted on 18th Aug and currently pending
1. i'm still listed as one of the directors in acra for the startup, the process of removing myself will take some time as the company is going through a restructure and some other documents i signed as director needed to be filed first
2. I was paying myself a low salary, now with the new offer the salary part would be more than 3 times of my original salary
any other ppl with similar experience? would mom block the ep application?

EP approved today!!! I'm so happy MOM didn't block the application just because it doesn't fit the stereotypical conditions.
Application date: 18 Aug 2021
Approved; 30 Aug 2021
Total 9 working days

@DC123 Did you re-appeal and what happened later ? Mine is pending for more than a month and I strongly suspect mine will be rejected too.
